- I am currently in the process of installing a Seagate 845 3.5"
- internally in my A1200. Most people that I have talked that have done
- this have the best luck with Seagate's since they are only 19mm in height.
- I'm not sure if I will leave the RF shield in or not.
-
- I am currently looking for the cable to attach said drive to computer.
- Redmond cable has the cables for $36.00 USA but I'm still looking around
- for a better deal. If not I will just order from them.
-
- Size is the keller with this and that's why I went with a Seagate. Also I
- got kinda lucky and got it for $100.00 which I thought was pretty good.
-
- I really doubt you will find a drive in the 300 to 500 mb range that will
- fit the A1200 with out to much hacking.
-
- I realize 845 is way over kill for me but atleast I never have to buy
- another drive.
